Pela Secção de IL da IFLA vim a saber que a Presidente cessante deseja ver a literacia de informação tratada na vertente (entre outras ) de inclusão no currículo de formação de profissionais de informação-documentação de competências, não só de literacia informacional de cada profissional, mas também competências de formação nesse âmbito. Ou seja independentemente de outras competências como pedagogo o profissional de LIS deve receber como parte do programa de LIS competências na pedagodia de literacia de informação
Sheilla Webber chamou a atenção para o facto de a União Europeia , no contexto de Bolonha (pois então) andar a brincar com a formação de LIS e estar eminente a saída de um documento oficial sobre o currículo de LIS em que uma parte seria dedicada ao papel a desempenhar na info competenciação de utilizadores e, duma maneira geral, cidadãos.

Examples of level 1
1. Identify the objectives, the audience and the content of a training programme.
